The Baha’is of Door and Kewaunee counties are joining with fellow believers worldwide in marking the centenary of the passing of ʻAbdu’l-Bahá on Nov. 27. They will be screening Exemplar, which follows the life of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and the profound effect He had on people past and present. The film will be shown virtually Nov. 26, Nov. 30 and Dec. 4, all at 4 pm.
‘Abdu’l-Bahá was the son of Baháʼu’lláh, founder of the Baha’i faith. Baháʼu’lláh appointed His son to become the interpreter of His teachings and leader of the faith. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, which means “Servant of the Glory,” lived a life of service and dedication to his father’s teachings of loving kindness and unity, and he has inspired millions of people worldwide who are now honoring him 100 years after his death.
