Police: Suspects break in several parked cars, steal items in Ashland – 8News

ASHLAND, Va. (WRIC) — Ashland Police are seeking the public’s help with identifying potential suspects of larceny.
On Saturday, January 8, around 4:30 a.m., several parked vehicles were broken into and items were stolen in the area of the 400 block of Henry Street.
Police are seeking two male suspects and a vehicle seen in the area during the larcenies. The vehicle is described as a silver Toyota Camry with a possible missing rear passenger-side hubcap.

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Baby fever is real in the Richmond area with 2021 marking a record-breaking number of births for some local hospitals, including HCA’s Henrico Doctors’ Hospital and Chippenham Hospital.
Pryor Green with HCA said 2021 marked the highest number of babies born on record in more than 45 years at Henrico Doctors Hospital. The same record was broken at Chippenham.
(NEXSTAR) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is calling on consumers to stop using one company’s antigen and antibody tests due to inadequate performance and the high risk of false results.
According to the FDA’s Tuesday warning, the LuSys Laboratories COVID-19 Antigen Test (Nasal/Saliva) and the LuSys Laboratories COVID-19 IgG/IgM Antibody Test have not been authorized or approved for distribution or use in the U.S. The antigen test uses a nasal swab or saliva while the antibody test uses serum, plasma, or blood samples.
HANOVER COUNTY, Va (WRIC) – A Hanover County family is in shock after one man was killed in an explosion Monday night on Billingswood Drive.
Hanover Fire and EMS confirmed the victim, Bryson Lewis, 21, was cutting the top off of a 55-gallon barrel when flammable vapors ignited.
